Major Indiana Horse Races
Indiana, as the 38th largest State in the Union, and the greater Indianapolis area in particular, is home to some of the richest horse racing in the Great Lakes region. Hooiser Downs and the Indiana Grand Race Course offer live horse betting action that includes Stakes racing throughout the season. From the Dan Patch Invitational that features top standardbreds, to the Grade II Indiana Derby where the thoroughbreds take center stage, triple digit purses are on the line from March until November in the Hoosier State.
