Mississippi Delta has been tabbed as the morning line favorite at odds of 4-1 in the wide open field for trainer Mark Casse. A bay daughter of Giant’s Causeway, she has won three of her four starts and will be stepping up to graded stakes competition for the first time. All four of her starts have come at Woodbine and she was last seen winning the Alywow Stakes by three-lengths in June. Julian Leparoux will be in the irons and they will break from post position seven.

Feathered a big contender on the turf

Second choice at 9-2 on the morning line is Feathered for trainer Todd Pletcher. Purchased for $300,000 as a yearling, the bay daughter of Indian Charlie has been on the board in six of her nine starts and is a two-time winner. After winning the Edgewood Stakes (G3) at Churchill Downs in May, she finished second in the American Oaks (G1) last time out. Luis Saez will be aboard and they are scheduled to break from post ten.

Graded stakes debut for All in Fun

Also in the field at morning line odds of 8-1 is All in Fun for trainer Claude McGaughey, III. Purchased for $200,000 by Stuart Janney, III, she has won two of her five starts and will be trying to earn the first black type victory of her career.  Last time out, she was second in the Hilltop Stakes and will be competing against graded stakes company for the first time. Joel Rosario will be aboard and they will break from post position five.
