On Saturday at Sunland Park, the featured race is the $415,000 Sunland Park Festival of Racing Stakes. Scheduled to be run at a mile and an eighth, the stakes race has drawn a field of twelve three-year-old colts and geldings.
Collected has been installed as the morning line favorite at odds of 5-2 in the contentious field for trainer Bob Baffert. A chestnut son of City Zip, he was purchased for $170,000 as a juvenile and has won two of his four starts including the Sham Stakes (G3). He will be trying to rebound after finishing fourth in the Southwest Stakes (G3) in his most recent start and has had a bullet workout since then. Martin Garcia will be in the irons and they will break from post position eight.

Second choice at morning line odds of 5-2 on the morning line is Gettysburg for trainer Todd Pletcher. A gray son of Pioneerof the Nile, he cost $425,000 as a yearling and has one win from four starts. He broke his maiden in his third outing and followed that up with a fifth-place finish in the Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3). Javier Castellano will be aboard and they are scheduled to break from the outside post.

Also in the field at morning line odds of 7-2 is Found Money for trainer Doug O’Neill. Bred and owned by Reddam Racing, the chestnut son of Square Eddie has been on the board in five of his eight starts and will be trying to earn his fourth victory. He is a two-time stakes winner and will try to move forward after a fourth-place finish in the Sham Stakes (G3). Mario Gutierrez will remain aboard and they will break from the rail.
