On Saturday at Gulfstream Park, Sunshine Millions Day begins with the $100,000 Sunshine Millions Sprint. Restricted to horses bred in Flordia, Maryland, New York or Pennsylvania, the six-furlong contest has drawn a field of seven.

Happy My Way, second in the 2014 Sunshine Millions Sprint, tops the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 6-5 for trainer Joe Orseno. A five-year-old gelded son of Wilko, he has won six of his eighteen starts and is a graded stakes winner. Four of his career victories have come at Gulfstream Park and he is returning to the races off of a two-month freshening. Joe Bravo will be aboard and they are scheduled to break from the rail.

Weekend Hideaway trying to return to form

Second choice at 2-1 on the morning line is Weekend Hideaway for trainer Philip Serpe. A five-year-old son of Speightstown bred in New York, he will be making his first start since finishing sixth in the Fall Highweight (G3) at Aqueduct in November. A winner of six of his nineteen career starts, he won two races in 2014 both against restricted state-bred competition. He has been training steadily and will break from post position seven under Javier Castellano.

Yogi Berra getting a class test after two wins

Also in the field and a longshot at 20-1 on the morning line is the undefeated Yogi Berra who will be making his first start for trainer Ralph Nicks. Bred and owned by Bach Stables, the four-year-old son of Majestic Warrior is a perfect two for two in his limited career. He broke his maiden at first asking at Tampa Bay Downs and followed that up with a win against optional claiming competition. Edgar Prado will be aboard and they will break from post four.
